    Agree that we haven't been the best in the transfer market in recent years but letting Bothroyd go on a free is 100% the right decision. As I said earlier in the thread, if only a few of our other players had similar release clauses!

      Let's hope they do... who are we left with now, Remy is due to leave too.

      We're going to be left with BZ & AJ, which both will be injured most of the season.

          Getting any ! player any player ! out would be the right thing to do the wage bill needs to be brought down at all costs ,
          The Championship is about attitude and effort as much as skill and we should be open to offers for all players

                This all makes perfect sense. Get rid of two proven championship strikers and leave two that will never be fit and one who will be leaving or playing for Wormwood Scrubs FC next season!

                        A fee for Bothroyd!!! I'll have some of whatever you're on MYU.

                        @michael, unless I'm mistaken the transfer window has only just or is about to open so plenty of time to bring 1 or 2 strikers in.

                        Think we will see one of Di Santo and Cole down the loft next season.
