    Okay, A Bit of Positivity

Whilst many want to speak about a Scunthrope United player, what a great bit of business bringing in Ben Watson.

I make the point as it seems to have been lost in the last 48 hours, that we have a leader on the pitch, wanted by a number of clubs including in the premiership.

Well I am delighted with the signing and I think most people on this board feel the same. You seem to speak on behalf of others quite often Pete.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Bradley? lol I really think he should be good to him.
I think we should avoid ginger jokes as I bet he is sick of them from his time bullied at school.

Although we do need a goal poacher, if given the choice of Watson or say Hooper I would have chosen Watson as I believe he will be extremely infkuential and get the best out of some of our underperforming 'stars'.

Agree with you on that. Posted on another threat that I find it extraordinary that a well plugged in journalist to matters QPR writes a piece this morning saying we have a deal to bring him in for £2m at the end of his loan, which would arguably be the most significant signing Rangers have made since, well, I can't think it must be so long back. Yet this has hardly created a murmour.
Do think there is still some explaining to do BTW on what our intentions are re a striker/ the loan window but that should not distract from what is a great, great coup.

despite my issues with our transfer policies and the fact we are hugely unbalanced in midfield, i do think watson is our best buy in years. very happy with this signing and now i genuinely think we're only 2 players away from a proper promotion bid.
