The thought of Barton coming back ,should encourage some of our "star " players to jump ship ,that bit quicker, fingers crossed

Yeh i rekon he'll be back of to france on loan with us paying a large % of his wages again. Guess its all about who blinks first im sure they will be quite happy to loan him under those circumstances but as a club we would like him gone. It'll be interesting to see how all parties deal with the reality of him returning to loftus rd my thought is he's a mistake we'll be paying for for a while yet one way or another.

would welcome joey back tbh........if he could just get his mind set right he could be a pivotal player for us in the championship.

Bet he feels like a prize pr*ck now for giving it the big'un about how a deal was agreed!

Personally if I was Tony Fernandes there is no way I'd be subsidising a loan for him again this season, if nobody wants to take him off our wage bill we should have him in the squad. I know many won't like this but he'd be a cracking player in the Championship and whatever you say about him, we missed a few characters like Joey last season!

I agree. I'd rather him than some of the others who played last season.
Barton alongside Faurlin with two decent wide players could be a good Championship pairing. Or with Jenas, a 3 man midfield that can break up play, create chances and even chip in with a few goals.

It makes me laugh the constant slating of Joey and how "bad" he was for us.... All these people seem to forget we stayed up with him performing very well the end of last season (since that Liverpool match he got booed he was good). Add to that, this was in a very modest midfield also incluidng Derry and Mackie among others this was a good achievement.

WE since spent fortunes on no end of "better" midfielders in Granero, Park, Mbia, Diakite, Hoilett, etc, and where did it get us......

I would welcome him back in for sure.
