Apparently he turned down a contract with Ajax to sign with Brentford 2 years ago.

I haven't seen him play in the flesh (only on tv) but he did look good, I did ask about him to one of my Bentford mates and he said " he is a great little player but to good for you and if he did leave us it would only be to a prem team" They 'Bentford' do despise us and they would be gutted if he joined us but like I reminded him the Championship is a step up for him and if you didn't blow it last season then you might have been able to keep him but you are only in league 1 so shouldn't stand in the way of a player who wants to improve himself.
