Personally, think he is just the sort of player we need in the Championship. Don't think he is good enough for the PL, and had we stayed up I'd say we should flog for £2m as he would be surplus to requirements - but we know he can do a good job in the 2nd tier and he is 1 of the few that will work his nuts off for ya. I'd tell em to shove it for that price, personally.

I agree with you on this. He is not a Prem League player, but can be a threat at this level and he does put in a shift. I also think that if QPR can build a solid defensive platform then players like Mackie and SWP can use their energy in the attack rather than spend so much time defending.

If and when QPR win promotion, Mackie should be one of the 1st players that QPR sell.

Personally think we need him in the Championship - already proved how good he is at that level, works hard and loves the club.

Mackie is the man for the championship, i would think he would be way down the list of players we want to offload.

Mackie's strengths are his work rate and attitude. His weakness is he's not a natural winger like Thomas, Sinclair or Sinton.

Not sure if he's good enough to play as a forward regularly but I don't rate him as a wide man. I see him as an impact sub forward who can give defences a bit of a rough time. He doesn't mind mixing it and no one could accuse him of lacking application, unlike many in the squad.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

There's not a lot to add to that except he also has the ability to lift a flagging side coming off the bench

Yeah he fancies the championship ahead of the champions league.

Mackie is one of a few players we have who would sweat blood for us next year. Why sell him only to be replaced for a potential money grabbing bar steward
