  • Richard Dunne

Seen 2 news reports now claiming the old H is interested in signing Dunne!! Not sure if he would be a good signing if it went ahead, however loads of goals in the wrong net.
My old man was the star player for HMP Parkhurst during their successful and unbeaten 77/78 season.

Farrrkkkk that the bloke turns like an oil tanker. Yes, bags of experience ad used to be half decent but he's a flipping donkey these days, wouldn't even want him in the Championship tbh.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

On a 1 year contract in the Championship Dunne would do fine, alright he's knocking on but he's smart and he reads the game very well. He would also have a lot more fight and character about him than 90% of our squad at the moment. I seem to remember people whinging that Ryan Nelsen was too old and slow when we signed him a year ago but he proved a few wrong didn't he?

Given where we are Dunne would be a good signing in my opinion!

Spot on. If he stays fit, just what we need.

I agree with Tarbie... would be a sensible signing, something we havent made many of recently. decent pro that knows the game inside out.

Offer him a small contract and not on ridiculous money and if he decides to come it will be a decent signing for the Championship.

I can see wher H is coming from on this one , Dunne knows how to defend think back to the game that told us it was all up for us Wigan at home , gave away 2 identicle free kick on 90 mins we acted like naive novices in giving those free kicks away when we should have been hitting row z or hitting for goal kicks , a one year deal wouldent be the end of the word

                      Pay as you play contract?

On a 1 year deal then he would be worth having in the squad, plenty of experience and a no nonsense style of defending.

After seeing what Ryan Nelsen did in a higher league, I'd have no problems if HR brought Dunne in for a year.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

                            Yes for me
                            Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                            And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO
