Can posters not see we need experience and younger players to succeed, this obsession on this board of wanting the whole team full of young players will not work.
Neil Warnock's best 3 signings imo were Kenny, Hill and Derry, the latter two bringing the ingredient we were missing experience and grit.

Getting rid of the dross- by any means, including paying up their contracts- is essential. We know who they are. So does Harry. It includes Samba.

...and be wasting a valuable squad place, that's the trouble. Not to mention being a negative influence within the camp when we're trying to build a new team with the right characters and quality.

But the idea that poor players will leave rests on another club matching the deal that TF has given them (not gonna happen) or the flops taking a play cut to leave London (not gonna happen) or the club incentivising the players to leave (can't see that because Harry don't have the clout to force it and imo the club don't have the desire to do that).

And whatever Harry says I don't think he will leave because he loves football and has just about run out of jobs in the south east.

So it is a bit of a stalemate really and stalemate is the enemy of change.

This is sensible. But a clean slate is better. Get rid. Pay the dross off and name and shame them. Keep Green, Harriman, Onouha, Hill, Derry... Maybe AJ. Er. That's it (assuming Remy and Townsend are off). And get a blend of experienced and young players in. Parker would be great. As would getting Joey back.

I hate to be negative BUT he comes across as utterly down-trodden, tired and dejected if the truth be said. All we can hope for is he gets some kind of enthusiasm injection from somewhere starting right now, because if he can't be motivated there's really no hope for anyone.

Any manager would be fed up with our lot. How many silly goals have we given away in our last few games? It's probably been a bit of a culture shock to Harry to be landed with a team of so many low standard players and he'll be glad to get rid of those concerned.

There are a lot of things happening behind the scene. If you all remember one of the reasons Mark Hughes lost his job is that he had lost dressing room control. When Harry came, he punished Bosingwa for his refusal to sit on the bench against Fulham. However, Bosingwa played again after Harry said he started to behave and learn from his mistake, but yet again Bosnigwa at it. It just shows that there are people in the dressing room difficult to control when they are paid far much much more than they even dream of so two weeks wage ban did not work out for him. I am not defending or criticising Harry as he did not only inherit players, but also an unhealthy environment that needs to be changed and by that time changes are made, we can then judge him.

I find it hilarious that the last 8 or so years of his success could be undermined by some of our fans. The whole country wasn't stupid when they wanted him for england manager, he was favourite because he was a success. Give him time and he will improve the club

The "whole" country wanted him as England manager? So there was a massive public survey which got a 100% vote for Redknapp? I don't remember that. My recollection is of plenty of people with decidedly mixed feelings about the prospect.

Don't see that myself. Maybe the odd one but changing one player is pi$$ing in the wind theres more like 10 of them that people are posting about. That is not something specific to QPR though, basically no organisation wants to say we messed up so bad last year we got to spend to buy off our mistakes - too much egg on face. Can't see Harry pushing it through either because the gap is too big. I hope for better but at present the favourite outcome for next season is about the same people and about the same results as this one.
