I dont get it!?! This is exactly the sort of signing we dont need! The fact that we're linked with players like Parker and Hooper worries me greatly. TF is in danger of making the same mistakes again. We need to bring in young players who are hungry for premiership football likes of Bridcutt & Buckley (Brighton), Redmond (Birmingham), Will Hughes (Derby), Dwight Gayle (Peterborough) get those boys playing and training alongside Mackie, Hill, Derry, Taarabt, Samba and we would have a recipe for success......wish i was in charge!

Parker is knocking on, injury prone & would cost a lot in wages but he's a leader. The biggest problem with our team this year was too many prima donnas and money grabbers and not enough leaders. Personally I'd prefer we went for some younger players but if Harry thinks that Scott Parker in the middle of the park with the captains armband is the answer then I wouldn't be too disappointed!

We can't just buy a team full of youngsters . Look at pompy when hr took them up , he took on players like Merson and they p***** the championship . We must blend youth with a few older EXPERIENCED heads with the right attitude and Parker fits that bill perfectly . I remember when we were linked with him last year or the year before ( can't remember which ) and people on here were creaming their pants over it . Scott Parker would be a fantastic signing

I get where you're coming from but I dont think someone like Parker would fall under the 'mercenary' category.
