Kevin Doyle for Leeds? Or Ipswich? Or QPR?

He's only 29 and it's not so long ago that Wolves paid 6.5 million for the guy. And McDermott knows him well of course, because of his days at Reading.

No thanks vastly overrated player and was part of a team that has now been relegated twice in two seasons.

Just because a player is young does not guarantee success

Too right David, that Connor Wickham is a good example of this...touted as the next big thing when he went to Sunderland from Ipswich and so far has proved to be a damp squid.....however, Kevin Phillips at knocking 40, is still scoring for Palace.

But we have too many old players as it is.
Andy Johnson - past it unfit
                          Zamora - past it
                          Park - past it
                          Hill - past it
                          Bothroyd - past it
                          Derry - past it
                          Boswinga - past it
                          SWP - past his best
DJ Campbel - I think he would be ok but at 31 he's getting no younger

Honestly we dont want anymore. Look at the other successful sides and how they did it.
Bridge & Doyle is a no for me.

Not disagreeing with some of your opinions there Olly, i would like to see a new attack, although would be inclined to keep Bothroyd out of the 3.
Just saying we'll need a blend of youth & senior pros
