    Wayne Bridge (Evening Standard)

QPR in strong position to land Wayne Bridge if Brighton miss out in Championship play-offs.

Queens Park Rangers are considering making an offer to Wayne Bridge as they seek to build a squad capable of an immediate return to the Premier League.

Rangers are also looking for players who can improve their attack and Redknapp’s chief scout Ian Broomfield watched Bolton against Blackpool last weekend.

Broomfield is thought to have had a particular eye on Blackpool forward Matt Phillips, who scored in the 2-2 draw.

Been decent for Brighton, but yes another 32 year old.

Do they google 32 year old footballers, then just link them to us?!?!?

I mean sure, maybe I can accept a couple to boost a promotion push, but it's not exactly planning for the future..

Was skeptical when he signed for Brighton but seen him fair few times for them and he has looked very good. Would be a very good signing.

Well we've got Traore and the Korean kiddie at left back. Someone will get moved on or Traore might get moved to left midfield where he'll do well.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Fark that. Without having seen the lad play I'd say I'd rather have the Korean fella at LB than another 30-something has been looking for a final pay day.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Could just be lazy journalism though.
He was one of the players linked last summer under Hughes.

To be fair.....Bridge is a player who is more than able for the championship and will have to be taking a sizeable pay cut anyway when he leaves city. Worth a short term contract in my opinion.

I think he will stay at Brighton though.....

Difference between "worst news since hitler lost Berlin" and "since hitler learnt he lost Berlin". Granted not the best metaphor but my point is I'm as gutted as hitler was when he heard his news (minus the cyanide)
