As someone told me on twitter. Apprently their season has just started & ours is ending so that might be a reason?

Also isn't his contract to the end of this season anyway??
    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

A really strange move. Hoping it means a run out for a few youngsters then.

Huh???? Can't understand that. Aren't we supposed to have been playing those who are likely to stay next season (bar Remy and Townsend)?

Only until June 30 so he should be back for pre-season, and at a decent level of fitness if he stays injury free.

Did i miss something then? cos the guy just had his fourth consecutive relegation, got turned inside out against Arsenal and that was his best game for us. Must admit he put in more effort than most this season but does that exempt him from the fact that he looks poor and wouldnt get into many Championship squads let alone one that is hoping for promotion next year. We need players with effort AND ability and we need to get as many of these losers of the wage bill as possible.

Opinions mate, I didn't think he played badly at all against arsenal and IMO has looked pretty solid every time he's played (bar MK Dons, but then again, everyone was gash). Reckon he could be handy in the Championship.

To say I was underwhelmed when we signed him is an understatement, but in fairness to him, hasn't done much wrong (as you say bar MK Dons!). Not exactly a "fashionable" player, but certainly does a job. Plenty more I'd sooner ship out and give abuse to than him. Even if he does look like a fat version of Jim's Dad from American pie.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

reality is his contract up at the end of june - he may or may not be offered a new one. Chance for him to get a new contract in toronto so probably asked to be let go. good luck to him

Probably right, i am being too harsh. Decent backup player in the Champs i suppose.

Well maybe Harry's got better lined up for next season, even though from reports he hasn't done too badly......lets be optimistic

I think this is probably it. Also a favour to Nelsen.
