He is very poor. I know I have only seen 1 game but he has nothing to offer apart from a good work rate. The only thing that comes to mind is that he runs around like a headless chicken.

We should be going at a faster pace than most, if not ALL the other teams in the league. 'FFS' as you like to say a lot...even BLACKPOOL are showing more ambition than us in this widow with the targets they're aiming for. Sheff Utd, West Brom, Cardiff, Bristol City and Forest have ALL shown more ambition in the transfer market than us. At least they've added to the main criteria for promotion...goal scorers.

2 are unproven foreigners, one of whom looks as average as the players we already have, the other cant last more than 60mins at match pace.

You only say that as you can't stand Dex.

Love him or hate him, he was our top scorer TWICE out of the last 3 seasons. Keeping Dex or even signing Adebola would have been better than what we've done. Yeah, Simpson is a better player and I'm thankful we've signed him, but we still need a goal scorer or at least a target man to help Simpson.

Again...I'm not wishing to get into an arguement with you but we've done badly by selling our only goal scorer without replacing him.

He's no had the worst start to the season in fairness to him with a few goals and assits so far. Better than our so called 'strikers' have done.

I'm just annoyed at the anti-climax we have had and know we should have done far better.

i'm very positive with the squad at the moment,i have trouble getting my bonce around those who constantly whinge and moan about anything.the club is moving forward albeit slower than most want it too but thats life.answer me one question would the moaners rather us spend 4mill on the likes of rub hulse like boro did?.get some realism behind you constant grinding of teeth and look where we were 2 years ago.simpson is young and english so we should be over the moon we have secured his loan.we have a very good squad now or would you rather have brett angell back?

Ade, that post completely misses the point. Of course we're in a better position than 2 years ago...but so are most of the others. Clubs we should be out bidding and even buying from. We're too f**king slow in the transfer market and p**s around far too much.

Oh s**t...it's 6 weeks in...we need a striker...let's leave it another week or two and make a bid fro Hooper with 2 hours left in the market to give them time to find a replacement. What a load of b0ll0cks. We can't replace Dex in two months, yet we expect Scunny to replace one in two hours?
