I think with Hughes though he never signed his own players he signed what his mates offered him he had no interest in scouting a player himself, he was a lazy manager

Harry I think is an old school manager who does his own homework hence why his strike rate for players is usually quite high. Always seen at matches watching a game brushing up on players and opposition

If Tony has learnt any lessons from this season, it should thus;

To stop courting the media and that a blue print for long term success is the antithesis of his transfer policy.

For him to bleat about some of the players now rather makes him look like the naive individual I stridently maintained he was earlier in the season. Nothing epitomises the truly appalling transfer policy more than Jose Bosingwa. And whilst many have been impressed with M'Bia, the lad has been a liability incapable of staying on his feet and looking more like a pub footballer than the player many thought he was. The few shining lights were Julio Cesar & Loic Remy.

I'll upset a few here and even point the finger at Zamora, which may seem harsh considering he has rarely been fit but he has been a shocking waste of money. A poor attitude and has done little but whinge since joining the club, throwing his toys out of the pram over the training facilities was hardly the most sensible way for him to ingratiate himself when he joined.
