Nelsen was great for half a season, then shafted us, didnt honour his contract and left us in the sh1te which contributed to our failure to get out of the mire.... yeah, lets vote him POTY...Blimey.

Nelsen didn't really shaft us. He was signed as a squad player, and was the only one who gave it his all week in week out when players earning three times as much did f**k all. Blame the club for having to rely on a 34-year old with bad knees in the first place. If you were in his position you would have left in a heartbeat as well if it were any other club.
Not to mention as far as POTY goes, we're not exactly rich with alternatives!Comment

He signed a year contract - not a pay as you play deal, therefore he should be able to play if called upon.
He was at a top 4 club last season, and signed on a free.... if you think he wasn't on a very good wage you are naive. Guarantee nobody would've been on treble his wage, and expect he was in the higher earner bracket.
As for giving his all week in week out... he did yes, but they should do on the money they earn.
Yes he did shaft us no matter how people want to gloss it over. He was under contract and left mid season. I'm still annoyed personally the club didnt make more of an issue of the whole thing.Comment
