HARRIMAN’S HOPE: @Mharriman40 – currently on loan at @wwfcofficial – targets first team breakthrough next term.

What do you think his prospects are and are there any youngsters who could make the first team next season?

Max Ehmer and Harriman should both get a good amount of games next season, maybe Andrade and people like Sutherland could get a few games too. Can't think of the last youth player who made it in the squad.

They played in the friendlies just gone and played well, but it was against awful opposition.

MH actually did that last season and as far as I recall they did quite well, though the opposition was not great. Then they disappeared.

I am interested to see what happens with them next season.

Of the lot I would expect Ehmer and Harriman to have the best chance of being in the first team squad next season. Then you have Doughty, Andrade, Sutherland and even Balanta who will have the pre season to hopefully show what they can do.

The Under 18s have the best defensive record in the whole of their league. Perhaps they should be playing in the premiership.

part of the reason for the poor start to the season was the lack of a cutting edge which can be contributed to a poor pre-season.
I have nothing agaisnt goping on long haul pre-season trips, but the opponents have to provide a challenge.

Had QPR played the likes of Augsburg Trabzonspor and other decent sides in a far east mini tournament they could have come back fitter and sharper and been better placed to convert early season chances against Swansea, Norwich, Man City, Chelsea and Spurs as well as defending better to prevent some of the goals they conceded.

going back to the point if Harriman and others getting some games next season, I would not be in the least bit surprised to see them feature in a number of games. Especially if there is a big clear out of the current squad.

Their names dont sell seats on planes whilst names like Park,Granero etc do.... but i agree they should have got at least a look in.

Harriman was outstanding on our pre-season tour & imo should of got a chance this season.

I rate Harriman very highlight & believe if he isn't in the squad next season then our youth system has failed. Personal opinion
                    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                    And many more mistakes

                            Disagree Yousef.

I'd give them a go now.

Can't do any worse than those they would replace.
