In my view blame lies solely with hughes and rigg (everyone raved about him....what did he actually do???). Fernandes and beard should sanction transfers but should not reject for footballing reasons. Back the manager, that's what people want. Unfortunately we backed the wrong ****** horse!

Tbh I think you're stating the obvious. We all clearly know that Hughes spent poorly and bought a very average side with big money. He didn't sign enough strikers and packed the midfield.

However I am not going to ignore the last 6 months where a new manager came in and did have a transfer market to deliver. Yes it wasn't ever going to be an easy job but looking at the league table shows no improvement. He loves stating the players but does he think his 3m a year contract has been just? The bloke hasn't done enough for me and I only see a few posters agreeing. I think many have jumped on the sun campaign to make out he is a world class manager, when in truth he is very average and has a pretty average record. Thankfully for england he did not become manager

I think the board, both Hughes and Redknapp and the players are all to blame. The board should have got rid of Hughes sooner. Our priority before the season should have been to get a decent centre-back in, which we failed to do. Nelsen was only expected to be a back-up player but ended up being our most important player which speaks volumes. A fair few players have been selfish and totally unprofessional over the course of the season. Redknapp spoke the truth when he said that we are paying these players way too much for what they are actually worth, and I don't think the players have taken to Redknapp because of his comments. It's basically all a shambles really. It's certainly a learning experience for Tony and co.
The only 2 positive things about QPR this season are Remy and Townsend. I've enjoyed watching them play, and I think it's a real shame that we wont be seeing them pull on an R's shirt for much longer.

There has been a 20 point improvement as on the ratio that Hughes was picking up points (4 in four months) we would have ended up with 9 come the end of the season and I can seriously have seen that happening

What the club lacks is a clear transfer policy. We did not have priorities other than buy a new squad because the old one was full of championship players. This is where director of football comes in. The board could have said 'lets bring a director of football to deal with transfer policy' but to be fair to them, Hughes has a pretty excellent transfer history. He brought Samba, Kompany and Dembele to this country and they have all been massive successes. He also brought in Cisse last season who saved us and he has brought a few youth players here and there but ultimately, he was no matchday manager. Tactically he was poor and for all the science and tech improvements, on the pitch the club was in turmoil from the beginning and i feel it was due to his cold nature as an individual that alienated him from his players and when you sign as many characters as he did, that will ruin a club

Exactly this. Someone with the passion and drive of warnock and the market understanding, long term vision and technological coaching abilities of hughes would have been perfect

Really Hughes sort out the transfers have you seen what he sanctioned in August. He has not got a clue his transfer policy is based on what he is offered not what he has scouted and assessed himself. He would not know a scout if it walked up and said dib dib dob dob. He lived off a false reputation. Remove rigg and Kia and who is he????

Warnock lost the dressing room and could not handle the players and Hughes' transfers were awful. Not a very good combination.
