The premiership wasn't that bad, just we were.
We really should have been alright in mid to lower table mediocratity.
Rubbish teams like Norwich, Stoke, WBA and West Ham have all been safe.
Utd aren't all that.
Liverpool, Arsenal once great teams were beatable.
Villa are a joke ....
We just messed up and we only have ourselves to blame, no point in being bitter about the prem or sky. If we just as a club acted normally for once, we could now be looking at next year to build on up the league plus a good cup run but instead we messed up.

Couldn't agree more. We have done our best to relegate ourselves these last two seasons, and now looks like we have finally succeeded.
We let too many mediocre teams, make absolute fools of us, time, and time again. Wigan might prove to be the proverbial one over the eight for us.

I posted a similar thread a few days back...about it being more fun.

I want us to be as good as we can be, but the PL is a joke of a league IMHO. Not even remotely a competition. Not close. Going downhill fast and will just get worse with the new overseas TV money and the FFP regs.

We will still be watching QPR, playing the same sport in the same ground in the same colours next season. Hardly like we have to play rugby or skittles if you go down a division.
