Not sure we'll get the points there? they played really well against Spurs and prob should have won ? but Goodison hasn't been to bad a hunting ground for us over the years we've won quite a few times there!

We have two things going against us in terms of survival hopes. We have on average won 1 game in 8 this season and now need to probably win all the remaining games. Secondly those around the last relegation place probably only need one more win out of their remaining games to be realistically out of sight and I have no doubt that will happen.

We are in the Championship next season. I'm looking forward to an exciting season. Enduring the rest of this season a minor obstacle before we get to that. Being slightly more positive this season will be nice to see likes of Remy and Townsend a few more times before they leave.

I don't see why we should just be accepting relegation until its mathematically certain? It's unlikely we're stay up but then it was deemed nigh on impossible to beat chelsea at stamford bridge. Don't we love this game because sometimes the unexpected does happen? And don't we love this club because it provides os much ****** heartache that when something good happens it makes it feel all the better.

There's more chance of my willy becoming disease free than us staying up.

Would love to believe that we could stay up, but find it almost impossible to do so.
There is that tiny little voice in the back of my head though, that says otherwise, but it's barely a whisper now.

As someone else said in this thread these chest beating we can still do it posts/threads are becoming embarrassing and a little boring now..... What is it with people and mathematical equations..... Ok technically there are still enough points but the permutations are ridiculous so come on, those few amongst us who still keep churning out the same rhetoric.... Give it a rest.... Townsend and Remy will go which for me is a real sickener because they are the best players and most consistent players we've had in years....:(

This squad has the spine of a jelly fish. It is a sick amalgam of disdain, venality and ineptitude with a touch of nihilism. 3 points at Everton?..."Loadsamoney".."I got more money than yow" My life in the future has no bearing on what I do here.

                        Bunch of KH unts.

I think we have a good record v Everton. We could win it you never know, but I don't think we will stay up!

All to late I'm afraid, all the must win games have passed us by and luck is not even a factor as we have been ****e until HR turned up.

Must say what a joy watching Remy and Townsend has been since they have been with us, pity they won't be here next year as I'm sure we would destroy the Championship with them around!
I used to have a Gold Card but now only have Bronze!

Agree. That will be the greatest shame about our impending relegation.

I can see us winning the 3 home games and reading away......we just need to keep 11 on the pitch and continue the way we're playing. Everton away though.......all we want is just one flaming lucky win. I'd go back to defensive formation we had against chelsea but use pace of remy and townsend to hit them on the break. Let's give up when its mathematically impossible.
I have a feeling that is likely to be what Redknapp will do and may choose this line-up.

                                Cesar
Bosingwa - Samba - Hill - Fabio (especially if Traore is injured)
                                Mbia - Jenas - Park
Townsend - Remy - Hoilett (in for his pace).

QPR can nick the points in this game, just as they did last season with a side that had no real expectation of winning (although, it has to be said that this was Everton's 1st game of the season - their opening game was called off - and they are notorious for bad starts to the season).
