The free kick was a balls up all round

    M'Bia's foul
    Adel ducking
    No men on either post
Cesar leaving a gapping whole to his left

Honesty, nobody should score with a free-kick that close to goal. The wall only hindered Cesar cos he was blocked from viewing the ball thus strayed too far from the middle.

It'll be a miracle if we stay up now.

the real balls up is that romeo ceaser comes from a country where free kicks are re nown to be almost undefendedable, and the reason why ceaser left that gaping whole in the left was that he wanted the taker to go for that corner then he is supposed to magically rush across and push the ball out,but for some reason ceaser then decided to not rush across and block the shot

    both our goalkeepers are apaling,

I agree with what you're saying, but in Cesar's defence, the way freekicks work is that the wall covers 1 side of the goal and the keeper the other, hense the "gaping hole" to his left. If Tarbs hadn't ducked, it wouldn't have been a problem. The personel in the wall confused me. We all know Tarbs barely heads a ball, let alone takes one to the face. Hill should have been in that wall.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

You have left out HR's pop at Mackie for running like a headless chicken on goal and no ball control prior to the Mbia foul.

Should have gone left to corner flag get corner or even throw in to them and box them in and kill the game off. All started from a stupid I am going to beat 3 defenders run.

you cant waste a centre back on a wall he is needed to cover other players. you put you worst defenders in the wall. they don't need to mark anyone or cover anyone, just block he ball. adel is an absolute disgrace

adel ducked...HE WOULDN'T TAKE ONE FOR THE TEAM
            m'bia is a liability
why didn't the wall nudge forward?
why didn't we have at least one on the post, for the last kick?
as said, sod marking, wigan had to shoot, passing was not an option....fill the wall and block the line and then just charge at the ball!

Ultimately, M'bia has to carry the can for giving away such a needless free-kick in the first place.
Why we didn't play keep-ball in their half for the best part of injury time, only four minutes, I'll never know.
But, to give away a free-kick like that, just inches outside the penalty area, unforgiveable.

Because when we had the chance to run the clock down Mackie had such poor control he lost the ball giving straight to their keeper. like the headless chicken he is

Because our players are stupid, ill disciplined and inept. Which is of course, why we are where we are.

Tbf half that added time was probably put on due to Mbia's embarassing rolling around as though he has been shot with an elephant gun. Winds me right up that does.

                            He's worse than Ashley Young.

However, the whole scenraio leading up to it was a mess.

Firstly, I thought Bosingwa was fouled before he tripped the player.
Secondly, he shouldnt have tripped the player as the were other defenders for him to beat.
thirdly having messed that free kick up, they were given another opportunity to score after Mbia was ruled to have committed a foul. I have only seen the game once and no slow motion replays, but did Mbia make more contact on the Wigan player than the player who made contact with Bosingwa a few moments earlier on?
