Originally posted by CroydonCaptainJack View PostI can see that happening Matty and I am quite happy about it to be honest. We don't need two keepers on those wages. It is hardly a position that gets injured.
But you're right, we have 2 keepers earning over 100k per week between em which is madness, especially in the CCC. Cesar will be long gone almost as soon as that final whistle goes at Anfield. The year of the World Cup in his home country he won't be plying his trade in the 2nd tier. Without going into the ongoing debate, again, of who is better between the 2, I would be more than happy with Green between the sticks next year. He is a PL keeper tbh, so I really hope he is willing to stay with us next year. You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
