So where will our players go?

    Caesar - back to Brazil?
Bosingwa - I can't see any club wanting him, but hopefully somewhere in the Middle East
Samba - I actually think he might stay and do a season for us in the Championship. If not, back to Russia
    Fabio - back to United
Townsend - real shame but will go back to Spurs. Would love to sign him
Granero - some Italian or Spanish side
M'Bia - I think he might do a season in the Championship
Tarabat - will go to a French or Spanish side I reckon
    Hoilett- I reckon will stay
Zamora - I reckon will stay. No club will want him with his wages and injury record.
Diakite - some average French side
Traore - I hope he does go. So poor at defending. Would like someone else at left back
Remy - would love him to stay but no chance. Will probably go to somewhere like Arsenal.
Cisse - probably the Middle East again

I don't think many of our players will go to any other English sides.

    Realistic team for next season?

    Green
    Onunhuna
    Hill
    Samba
    Traore
    Wright-Phillips
    M'Bia
    Park
    Hoilett
    Zamora
    Johnson

That team will not get us promotion. Will have to bring in some Championship players. Not sure who is good and available. Have just avoided watching that league the last couple of years.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Also it's a World Cup year in Brazil! These players will want to be in their national side if they qualify. That will mean playing in a top league. Not going to places like Barnsley and Huddersfield on a Tuesday night in January!

It will be hard to get rid of most of them as all under contract and the majority have done F all this season for other clubs to come in for them.

Cesar & Remy will have others from other prem clubs, or bigger clubs abroad. Granero I would imagine will end up at a mid table La Liga side similar to what happened with Parejo (although his playing Champs league football). Samba will have offers. Taarabt will have offers from clubs, but not as big as he would like. I could imagine Newcastle coming in for him, or French or Italian clubs. With Adel, I personally think he would stay though, he will again become a big fish in a small pond, and everyone in the championship will be talking about him again to massage his ego.

Out of the current squad and a few new additions, we should compete to come back up with the following.

                    ...............................Green.............. ..............

                    Max Ehmer.......new signing.... Onuoha.....Traore

                    Jenas........Mbia

                    SWP...................Taarabt..............New signing

                    9

The 9 either being Bothroyd, Johnson, Dj Campbell

And why wouldn't he...no one else is stupid enough to pay him what he earns with us...even his old club said we were mad.

He is a good defender, but needs pace alongside him. He is not a top drawer defender, so why are we paying him more than most players outside of UTD, Chelsea and City.....?

I think most of big guns will go. The beginnings of a team may look as follows:

                              Green

                              Ned Hill Ben Haim Traore

                              SWP Jenas Park Mackie

                              Zamora Johnson

Add in some further squad players like Bothroyd, Ehmer, Campbell, Derry, Yun and we have something decent to build on. I suspect a couple of the players we all expect to leave will stick around as well. Would love Hoillet to stay. Him and SWP on the wings in the Championship with their pace would take the riss against most sides.
