          just a gag 71

seriously though, i have really gone past caring what players are peddled out by the club to give us this sphile (another spelling error).

Week in and week out we hear the same old shyte.

must try harder, we can still do it, treat every last game as a cup final blahhhdeeeblahhhhh.

all i want is for this lot to give their all every week, i dont want to hear em talk about it.

so please ignore my sarcasm from the previous post.

yes they did, just want them to stop talking about it an continue to preform their jobs to the best of their abilities.

they can do their q and a's at the end of the season. until then, it should be focus focus and focus.

I don't think anyone could accuse SD of not giving his all so yet another iirrelevant comment.
He was on there for ages and came across very well I thought.

Shaun was pretty condemning of Hughes, saying when we went 1-0 down we knew we were going to lose, basically no plan b. Said it is unlikely we would stay up and it will take a few freaky results for us to do so. Said HR has turned club around even though we are actually 3 points worse off than we were when he took over but that was due to Villa winning 2 on the spin just after we had done the same.
Then said Adel was an unbelievable talent but isn't mentally strong enough and it is up to him if he wants to play at the very top but you got the feeling SD doesn't think Adel will ever go on to being a great, although he has the talent to.
Got home then so didn't hear the rest.

he said the following from memory:

                        1) Thinks it will be tough but still thinks we will stay up. He sounded confident did not just appear to be saying it cause he was live
                        2) Said stories of stag do in Dubai are rubbish. Trained hard everyday and went out one night (not until 4am)to bond and we won two on the trot so it worked
                        3) He does not believe that the story came from a player and pointed finger elsewhere
                        4) Suggested that its a better team under Harry and everyone is now pulling their weight
                        5) Was asked about the Man City game last season A) said he was gutted City scored winner thinking we were down then Mackie came over with a beaming smile and said dont worry other game had finished a draw B) also commented that he could not believe his eyes when Barton went off on one
                        6) Said Barton is actually a top guy and nothing like how he portrays himself on twitter and how media put him across. Commented he saw Barton the day after the City game and he could not be more sorry for his actions
                        7) More or less suggested we would be a better side now with Barton in the team
                        8) Spoke a bit about himself and how he has made the best of the ability he has been given and even though not currently playing Harry keeps everyone involved

He seems a proper down to earth guy and if I was at the club I would be lining him up for a coaching role we need to keep people like him at the club after he hangs up his boots

Exactly what I think too. As soon as we went behind we were going to lose under MH. Harry's doing a good job but so are other teams, Adel blows to much hot & cold, you can't afford that in the Premier League. I'd play Green over Cesar because you know what you're going to get & that's a steady performance, Cesar is either amazing or his heads dropped?

Can I just add I think Shaun Derry & Clint Hill are amazing pros who will do very well now & after their playing days. I've not seen many like them since Ainsworth

                          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                          And many more mistakes

Well try not listening to it, blimey there are enough radio and tv channels and other forms of entertainment, its really not difficult to avoid hearing rangers players talk.

West Acton, thanks for the précis

I agree with Derry that we would have been a better team this year with Barton in the midfield, unfortunately 2 of our most talented footballer Adel and Joey are not made of the right stuff in the way that Derry and Hill are, if they had been we would probably not be in the **** to the extend we find ourselves
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks
