So what exactly did Kean do so horribly wrong at Blackburn, seriously? The team he had to work with in the relegation season was on paper no better (and probably worse) than ours this season, and yet Blackburn stayed within a touching distance of survival throughout the season, fighting and getting points right until the end, doing it better than we have been doing. And this season, in the Championship, Blackburn were flying high until his departure. He is a dogged fighter and not spoiled by big spending budgets, exactly what our relegated team, dejected and depleted from desertion, will need in August.
