im hopeful but relying on clubs to go easy...apart from anything else, a clubs finishing position is permanently on a managers record. they will scrap for every point

Not to mention every place is worth about £700k to the club, so the powers that be will expect teams to play for every point even if safe, however, phycologically some players will relax by default if their position can't really be affected, ie no europe or relegation as opposed to actual places.
