My point being that although hes made some show stopping saves hes also made a hell of a lot of mistakes. Its pointless making 10 great saves in a game if you also make 2 howlers that cost us goals.

As well as yesterday's game he was woeful against Southampton for they're equaliser, absolutely ****e against west ham at home and more often than not parrys and punches shots that should stick to his gloves. Rob green has to start next week

Ignoring yesterday I would say yes he has been good. I've seen him make some incredible saves that kept us in it.

He'll be off to Man Utd anyway.

Would have been interesting to see who would have played had Green not had a virus. I personally would have stuck with Green.

I have been criticle of Green and said Cesar should be number one but since his game at Wembley for Brazil he has not looked the same keeper to me.

I think what we have in Green and Cesar are two keepers with the ability to pull off world class saves, that other keepers may not be able too, but what we are crying out for is a keeper that can do the easy things like take crosses and rule his box a steady keeper

Cesar took a free kick second half and put it into the crowd at this level that is unforgivable

a few flash saves for the cameras doesn't make a great goalie ,it's bread and butter things like crosses and angles . And i have yet to see a great Brazilian goalie
Football played the Charlie Ferris way

this, leaves the defence jittery and indecisive

SAF won't have him. He wouldn't tolerate displays like yesterday's. I think we'd have been better off with giving Green the jersey. WHU pals rave about him. He'll make the odd mistake- sometimes a WBA style howler- but he's consistently solid. Pretty sure Harry would've played him yesterday had he not been sick. Think he'll stick around in the championship, so I'd play him the next eight games to win his trust.

We would have been relegated weeks ago without him. Some people have short memories.

I do not think he will be here next season and Green will be in goal. Green is a top Keeper in the Championship which he is more suited to.

Long memories too mate .. At fault for 2 west ham goals at LR . He is a great shot stopper suited to continental football. He had saved us a few points granted but cost us badly in games. Definatly a show boat keeper.

Wow what a ridiculous the only goal costing mistakes cesar has made is one at west ham and the one at Southampton.

You're incredibly harsh in Cesar now, practically gave us 1 point at home to city and played alone versus 11 arsenal players at the Emirates. I agree to an extent that he hasn't been as consistant as we may have thought but he has definitely been good.

I don't think it's harsh because he is obviously a high quality keeper. He was great at Arsenal and single handedly got us 3 draws but west ham at home one defo pos two mistakes Swansea was a complete shocker 3 mistakes. Soton away and yesterday.

You missed Swansea then? And yesterday when he refused to come off his line for the first?

I like cesar and think he is a great shot stopper but some people seem to think he is beyond criticism because he has come from Inter Milan and won the CL.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
