results are everything, we'll have played 12 games after the next 3. That's 1/3 of the season and last year we won 10 games (I think) and survived by the skin of our teeth. We're going to have to win at least 10 games from 28 if we don't produce in the next 3.
MH has signed some very good players, no question. However, he's clearly failed to motivate them, clearly failed to get it right tactically, clearly failed to pick the best team and clearly failed to get them to be disciplined.
Net result is 3 pathetic points from 10 games.
I honestly believe every other manager in the PL would have more points if they were managing us.
Up to now I've backed MH all the way, patience is wearing very thin, paper thin in fact.

I would review his job once we have played Stoke.

IMO - We have played the top ten teams and although I expected more points I would say we have played well

Losing to Reading and Southampton is a big issue.

1. Relegation rivals
2. Very poor teams
3. we have been playing well enough to beat these

It is too early for a panic change of Manager. 9 games including quite a few tough ones, plus all the good luck we had in our promotion year is balancing out now. That happens in football.

So how long are you prepared to give him? Plenty of people supporting Hughes but not many prepared to put a time on it. Are people who are totally behind Hughes willing to give him unequivocal backing for the season, or only till Christmas? If it's only till Christmas it means you have doubts as well, so perhaps those who want Hughes gone now, the doubters, are not so crazy after all.

I think nine games is too early to judge with a whole group of new players. He's a proven manager. If he wasn't our manager and we would make a short list of managers we want, he would be top three on that list for sure. Our history shows that we have ''not always'' succeed in changing managers for more successful ones.

I'm prepared to give him as long as Tony wants. In Tony I trust. Do you want him out too? After all this terrible run of form came under Fernandes' tenure. Do all the dissenting voices blame him? Hughes is his man after all, and he's sticking with him. He wants the fans to get behind his man while we search for valuable points. I'm showing my appreciation by trusting him and his appointment.

Not TF's fault but give him till Xmas to turn it round and if we are bottom 3 then get rid and replace asap. "In TF we trust" sounds too much like "In Warnock we trust" and "In Amit we trust", he's made a mistake but its not fatal, only human after all and lets be honest, i love TF's passion but he knows fkall about football.

But if he turns it around, then is it really a mistake? Who else would you have brought in at the time? Or would you have kept Warnock on? Well, I will have to agree to disagree about Tony's football knowledge, as I think he has shown a lot more savvy than most give him credit for. Certainly more than most chairman for sure.
