We've just saved at least £50k a week from that useless cant Caulker - I'd use some of that to give him a decent deal.

Ollie confirmed that he had a clause in his contract that meant we couldn't play him again (either a bonus or a renewal based on a certain number of appearances). I took that as we decided to pay him off rather than have him sit around doing nothing. I suspect we paid up most, if not all of the remainder of his contract.

Yes he can. Gotta get him tied up to a new deal. I wonder if perhaps we're gonna try to shift a few on first to free up some wage budget. I'd suspect that Lee Hoos is pretty tight on that side of things!

I'd call it a saving as it is a cost we no longer have to make next season. Thus, can spend a fraction of it on Robinson and still be spending less than we were.
