              Can be a bit of a risk I think, worked well with Adel when we won the league, but all you need is the player in question to leave or sustain a serious injury and you're a bit screwed!

                Exactly. Too many eggs in one basket and when the egg turns bad it can all fall apart

                  Utterly depends on the player and the situation.

                  Adel in the Championship meant it was worth it as he was clearly 'too good' at that level.

                    Agree mate but then I feel that hampered us in the prem. I want to get promoted with a playing style that will hold up in the prem allowing for continuity in the club, instead of mass overhauls of players and playing styles every summer. As a long term plan no I dont think a club should build around 1 player, in the short term yes the benefits are fairly obvious (taraabt promotion to championship)
