And he would be the only one worth keeping IF we could get somewhere Near 30 games out of him

Hopefully we go for Bradley Dack now Fer is on the move. He'll cost 2 million but worth it though very classy player

#QPR fans jump for joy as a £4.75m fee is agreed with Swansea for Leroy Fer... And then remember other club's conduct thorough medicals

Now if we have signed Lynch, it would have been great to have Nahki Wells as well. If the price was right that is? How muich do people on here think he would cost? Wages would be a problem, I know.

That's a tweet from a journo who covers QPR quite a lot, Sean Gallagher. Maids mate looks like your info might be top notch! Might find yourself top of the ITK table soon

If it meant we would.offer a couple of million for this guy, well worth selling Phillips for £4.

From hereisthecity. Bit of a long bow IMO

Are these the three players Newcastle United are close to signing after Rafael Benitez's comments?

Newcastle United have been linked with Fulham's Ross McCormack, Queens Park Rangers' Steven Caulker and Bournemouth's Lee Tomlin.

Newcastle United manager Rafael Benitez during the press conference

With Newcastle United boss Rafael Benitez confirming that his side are close to making three new additions to BBC Radio Newcastle, we take a look at the trio of players he could be talking about.

    Ross McCormack (Fulham)

    Leeds' Ross McCormack

McCormack is believed to be one of Newcastle’s top targets this summer (Daily Mail), as they aim to bolster their attacking ranks.

The Scottish international has been one of the Championship’s top scorers for the past three seasons and he should guarantee goals.

McCormack looks likely to leave Fulham this summer, and Newcastle appear to be leading the race for his signature.

    Steven Caulker (Queens Park Rangers)

    Liverpool's Steven Caulker

QPR are actively looking to offload Steven Caulker, with Newcastle tipped to be one of the clubs interested (Shields Gazette)

Newcastle need a new centre-back, with their defensive options currently looking short and it would not be a surprise if Caulker was brought to St. James’ Park in the near future.

    Lee Tomlin (Bournemouth)

Bristol City's Lee Tomlin celebrates scoring their first goal

Tomlin is another player who looks set to move this summer. The attacker appears to have no future at Bournemouth, and his next move is unknown.

The Sun say Newcastle are interested in Tomlin, but they face competition from Bristol City.

Tomlin confirmed earlier in the week that the Robins are yet to submit an offer for him, and that may have given Newcastle the edge in the race.
