Have you changed the default layout recently?
Try either default or Denim, and see if the advance option comes back.

Tried 2/3 different "colour" versions no red button + options.
Have clicked the chain link too

Using Chrome?
Whatever browser you are using, try logging out of the forum, clear cookies, cache etc. Close browser, log back in and try again.

Done that, still no html, very strange i did have it, i must have done something weird

Pushed your settings to default.
Log out, close browser and log back in.
Let me know if that works.
