Yes,if we get relegated and are stuck with him in the Championship.

All very well throwing money around but if we go down its the Hughes situation all over again.

Spend sensible so if you go down as bottom team you get £60m plus £60m over 4 years parachute payments.

Then try and get back up.

No, if we get relegated we sell him. We'd take a small hit, but surely the gamble of paying him 90k a week is worth it? As it is, we are relegation fodder if Austin goes down injured.

As many ex-PL clubs have found, getting back up from the Championship is easier said than done...just ask Leeds, Ipswich, Notts Forest etc.

Fair play to him if he thinks he has more chance of regular football.

I think he must have realised he wasn't first choice.

Make you right not to agree to pay 90,000 a week for Borini. But why no plan b?

He wanted to play first team football, it wasn't about the money.

Excellent, so we've made a big moral statement that we won't get our pants pulled down by agents - and now have 3 strikers, only 1 of which I would feel confident in scoring 10+ goals in the league. I hope everyone feels proud of the stance the club has taken when we're complaining about a lack of goalscorers in the weeks to come.

We sell him like we have sold SWP,Tarrabt etc. and all the other over paid rubbish we can't get shot of?.

Sometimes is better to do a Burnley, who have probably spent less in their lifetime than we have in our last 2 seasons before this window in the prem.If they go down they will be well financially secure. We rely on Fernandes bankrolling a loss making club.
