A little harsh I must say, so many clubs don't take this competition seriously!

    • Gator. We are not in a position to not take it seriously.

      • I think the result tonight is a reflection of where we sit in the football hierarchy. It comes down to what do you want to pay your money to see. The last two games have been abysmal given our resources. We should at least be competing.

What's changed since we beat Milwall?

        • If we were not taking it seriously they should have given the fans who went their tickets for free and told them a 3rd rate team would be picked.

I don't disagree with you but do you think SM should be sacked because of the side he played?

No he shouldn't be sacked on this result BUT he should have had both Hemed and Wells on the bench and a few other first teamers. Having said that they should have played from the start but the team he did put out should have been strong enough to win this but it seems their attitude was all wrong as they would have been more of a threat.

                    • see McClaren is blaming everyone bar himself for this debacle. the bloke is utterly clueless.

                      • No but deserves pelters for such a #### team and bench and does nothing to fill the fans with any confidence. He has overseen a 7-1 battering earlier this season so made no sense to raise the white flag tonight.

                        • What's happened to good old tried and tested values of never change a winning team, build momentum, a wins a win and winning becomes a habit (as does losing!)? These days the players are fitter than ever - well, maybe not Luongo - yet the poor dears can't play twice a week. If Forest had a couple of games in quick succession Cloughie just took them for a stroll by the Trent......then played his best team again.

To a very fit, organised and talented side who on tonight’s performance will batter us next week.

Yup. You look at the quality in that Derby side that are mid-table at the moment and start to fear for ourselves.
