Just watched his interview on the offy. He's had a decidedly mixed beginning to his career here and maybe his I'm-an-honest-Geordie routine has suckered me in.....
But he comes across as a smashing lad with a great attitude. And he says without a hint of irony that the fans have been great! Considering all the abuse he's got at HQ (not even counting on here) that deserves some credit.
I for one will be cheering him on this season - even though am sure he will leave me with my head in hands on certain occasions.
Best of luck Peter. U rrrrrrrrrs.

and is solid in the air. He's too big to be a full back, but he does not disgrace himself there. In fact, It's the fans who disgrced themselves by jumping on his back at every chance yet not giving him credit when he makes a great tackle or beats the striker in the air to clear.
