I would be very happy with the signing of Beckford, but would doubt the liklehood of us stumping up the asking proce... although it may be a knock down price as they placed him on the transfer list when he refused to sign a new deal. so who knows.

One things for sure, regardless of those that don't rate him or his attitude etc, it would certainly be an early sign of intent for the season ahead getting the golden boot winner from League one who most think could easilly step up and only get better...
