No real fan of McClaren but if Cameron and Rangel had stayed fit we probably would be safe in mid table but its the acts of a madman loaning out first Manning then Chair and Oteh when they should have been in our squad to come in when players went off form.Saturday was the final nail in his coffin selecting Lynch and Hemed in front of Leistner and Wells. Not sure anyone can squeeze more from this squad we really are in crisis as we have very little money and a threadbare squad for next season.Still think we made a massive error getting rid of Steve Gallen who is now Kenny Jacketts no2 at Pompey I think..if Tim Sherwood takes over I fear the worst.

Rowett or Warburton then. Please leave Sherwood alone.

By the way, and nobody has ever answered this, if Ollie is any good why has nobody given him a manager's job this season? Not as if he hasn't touted his availability. That suggests to me that within the football industry nobody will touch him. I do though admire your love and devotion to the great man!

Terrible decision. Our squad is not good enough for the Championship and with him, he at least kept us up. If we had Ian 'thinks he is a stand up comedian' Holloway or majority of managers out there, we would of got relegated

How is our squad not good enough for the Championship? We've just been dicked at home to Rotherham and Bolton, these have far less money and resources that us.

I've Wanted Kenny Jackett here for at least 4 years but there's more chance of me asking for a footw ank from the pi sshoof claws of Emily Thornberry, while she recites 'Das Kapital', than Kenny coming here.

You answered your own question, we lost to them coz our team isn’t good enough. Steve made us punch above our weight as much as he could but losing to Bolton at home is proving we don’t have a championship squad.
We are also one of the worse financially in the league, had to sell, we are in the negative and have a big fine to pay plus had a transfer ban. So thinking another manager apart from an elite manager would of done better is crazy. Holloway relegated Leicester who had 10 times the squad and finances than we have now.

This kind of thinking is off the mark. There's plenty of talent on the roster and it's the manager's job to set the players up for success and make the team greater than the sum of the players' individual talent. We've seen moments of brilliance from plenty of individual players over the last few years, but have either shipped them out because they didn't fit a manager's system, or hired managers who didn't know how to help them replicate that brilliance on a regular basis. What's the point of all of this if the only way to win is to have the better squad on paper?

Simple question Pinkster. Why is Holloway not a manager at the moment bearing in mind he has been available all season?

Probably because he's still being paid by QPR and maybe the terms of his release meant he couldn't take another management job while he was
