Those that are complaining really need to look at the bigger picture here. We don't need him this season. We might well need him next, with Wells and Hemed unlikely to still be here!
We are sitting in 14th tarbs and not exactly on fire, starting to underperform and as of have a poor goal difference with two loaned strikers yet we've scored 39 goals, he can get game time with us, as said hes good enough and thats that, it could come back to bite mac if we start struggling unless hes looking at getting another loan in

Exactly. If he is not able to get more than a few minutes here and there in our current squad, it´s far better for his development to get a loan deal, looking to play every week.

We've had tough fixtures all season long. Why are the next ones any different?

i think with smaller clubs like ours, loans are not always for game time but to keep wages down

He might get a few appearances here if he hangs around the rest of the season. At Accrington Stanley he'll be their first choice striker for the remainder of the season. If you can't see how that would be beneficial to the players development then it's pointless even debating the subject.

You've also correctly pointed out that we are in mid table obscurity. Unlikely to go up, and well clear of getting dragged into the relegation battle. Why should we stunt Smyth's development by keeping him here, when he can be out on loan learning and growing as a pro?

Great work by the club. He’s not close to first team action with us and although he has potential now needs the experience. This will be superb four months for him and set him up nicely for next season

get some proper football in his legs and make a man of him

Don't see it being hard work for the club to get him a loan there isn't that much ability in the lower leagues imo he's got more than enough about him , I just wonder about his ideas about himself , ackrington have a good management set up that seem to get the best out out of players

It is good for him to get game time any game time anywhere !
but be fair pinks he was making his way to becoming 1st teamer last half of last season but that useless excuse of a manager Holloway never picked him from the start of the season , he can't be much good though because Holloway can't get anything right

We didn't have Wells and Hemed last season though, did we Pinks? Your hero kept selecting Mackie and Washington every week, even though both were clearly not up to the job. Hence many were shouting to give the youth a chance.

True but there not ours are they tarbs, and another thing if we end the season in the same ish position its hasnt made much difference having them either & shows for what players played like washington etc shows how well we did and with the youngsters does it not.

Dunno what your obsession is with the fact we have a few loans. The fact is they are our players for the remainder of the season. And we should select the best 11 out of the players we have at our disposal.

Whys it have to be a obsession? would simply prefer playing players that showed last season great improvements & that there ready, for me its a shame we couldnt of signed players even youngsters & used the wages for them instead signed on frees instead of wasting a whole wages on these with nothing at the end to show for them, especially if we dont even land in the top 10
