Sorry for the last post. Just hate player power, and the individualism it generates. It´s a team sport.

Would be better for him to go out on loan until the end of the season now to get some more experience .I think he is probably more for next season and onwards , he is behind Osayi-Samuel right now and even he is struggling for game time .

Hopefully this stops the ongoing debate about him. If he’s good enough he will play if he’s not he won’t

Behind BOS not for me if he's prepared to get his head down ! He's well good enough to be included in the match day squad , mind I don't disbelieve there's been differences

But he is behind bos in mclarens eyes and that’s what matters , bos has been in the squad all season , smyth hasn’t .

Can see Pav going in the summer now and BOS/Smyth in competition for the right wing spot

Exactamondo. My guess is they left him out until he signed, but who knows

I would love to see Smyth play on the wing in the first team. But with Steve being the best manager we've had since Olly left its ultimately his choice.

No the club always had the option to extend his contract by a year anyway , regardless of playing time or what smyth wanted .
