Slow, fat and takes months to get fit ( and weeks to turn in a circle) so perfect for the Geordies cos thats how they like their women up there too.

If the price drops and we win promotion I don't mind him coming back next summer.

For all of HR talk about him, I got the feeling that he didn't rate him as much as he made out in public, Samba was a TF signing and HR went along with it as he thought he would be a top, top CB. This is just my opinion, if he rated him that much he would have signed him for spurs?

Not sure how you can say HR didn't rate him and that Samba was a TF signing. I don't believe HR is the kind of manager that would tolerate the chairman picking the squad.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

I'm pretty sure the story was: TF asks which CBs HR wants. HR gives him a list and TF somehow manages to get one from top of the list.

I actually feel a bit sorry for Samba. The saga started when Blackburn would not let him leave. He never really wanted to go to Russia but could not stay at Blackburn so this was the only option. There was obviously some arrangement for him to come to Rangers in January. However he was obviously not fit, was thrown into the deepend playing for a team in trouble. He then went back to Russia (don't think this was his decision) and immediately got transferred to another Russian team (again not his decision). Not able to find out how long his contract is with Dynamo Moscow.

If he goes anywhere it could be Stoke, because it was Hughes that wanted him in the first place.

After reading HR's comments regarding Remy and Adel, I would be surprised if he ended up back here.

I reckon getting rid of that lump of useless lard for the same dough that we paid for him was the best bit of transfer business in the clubs history. Well, the best bit of damage repair rescue work really, cos he should never ever been purchased at that astronomically stupid price in the first place.

Are you suggesting that paying £12m for a player who will need weeks to get fit, at a time when results were becoming more and more crucial with time running out fast, was poor judgement?

Weeks? more like months... £12 million for a player of his quality is a joke.

I'll have you know that £12M is a bargain price for a Supertanker these days. Average build cost is over $150M and they hire for about $500k per day
