    Any psychologists on here

Does laughing at other people's misfortune make me a bad person.
When I head about a premier league footballer being robbed of his £25000 Rolex whilst driving around in south east London this morning I nearly pi$$ed myself.
The last time I laughed like that was when Kim kardashian got done over.
I'm starting to worry about my behaviour now so any help would be appreciated.

It's called schadenfreude mate, part of human nature. Entirely natural!

Well I wouldn't say ALL humans commonly experience schadenfreude.

It's certainly understandable in the OP's example though!

Thanks guys, its good to know I can carry on with my guilty pleasure.
Mind you, if Joey Barton should unfortunately get his face re-arranged in a nightclub brawl I might just end up sh!tting myself with laughter, then I will have a problem.

In comedy, of course. Woody Allen was hilarious and a genius with it.

Never been overly into it.far too akin with jealousy which I see as sips of poison. Did half enjoy topping the wives dad up with an explanation of it all though when we was chatting a few weeks back.

My wife who is a psychologist, said it is a fairly normal feeling. Whether it is a good side of humanity is another chat altogether. I do it about others though. Not always in a mean or harsh way sometimes just laughing about adversity. Sometimes I am pleased bad people or people who probably arent doing all they can for society like Ibe and most footballers have bad times.

After all that why didn't you just ask her then ? Or would it of been too stripey to get the answer ?

Woody Allen is also a peado so maybe not the best person to use as an example if we are arguing this to be normal behavior!
