Who said about charging forward? With three in midfield, it would let out fullbacks go forward more, but it doesnt mean they should be charging forward like headless chickens. Seriously, 4-5-1 isnt really a very attacking formation.

Hughes is sticking rigidly to 4-4-2 and we're getting outnumbered in midfield. They're also using the flanks better than us because they've got the extra midfielder.

I dont understand Hughes though, if we played long ball i could understand it, but he encourages a game on the floor, and that's Zamoras weakest part and hes completely ineffectual. Even whan the ball is high he barely gets off the ground and doesnt win headers!
