Agreed re Kone. Clearly something amiss, mentally/physically. Hopefully we have somebody in our staff who can deal with the issue. I don’t think he’s useless but let’s not pick him right now (even on the bench). Might be doing the lad more harm than good.

Despite only seeing him play twice for the U21 DS I have high expectations for this 18yr old lad being a big player for us in defensive MF when he finally returns from a long term injury.

The only thing I will say is we signed Ronnie to play CB and hes doing the hokey kokey between there and CM, if Varane not up to it then cash in on the bloke

Still think we need a unit that can handle themselves and hold the ball up up front Kone don't look like hes interested in playing looks as fit as a butchers dog maybe personal stuff going on only dozen games in nearly but way of the pace

Move on some tough games coming up we can stick around top half

I said this last season, we need a Vinny Jones / Robbie Savage. Surely it cant be hard to to find a super fit box to box midfielder who can win the ball and pass it on. Unfortunately, we want ball players because they mske the most money. Touch our players and they get injured.....hardly any are robust enough for league. Same as Morgan with Bradford, hes a defensive midfielder byt deemed too soft to play L1. Millwall have got a bit of fight in them, but our midfield are a bunch of fair weather ball players.

Can’t win ‘em all. We’ve had a decent season so far so let’s not get too down. This looked a tough game and so it proved. Bad pretty much all round and Brum were way too tough physically for us. Must learn from it!

First away game I've managed to get to this season, we were way off it but we've got a week now to recharge before Swansea. Any injured players on cusp of returning?

We were poor all over the pitch , got bullied off the ball , messed about with it at the back.....too many players had a off day

Were we good in those first 10 fixtures or were they just good fixtures?

The opening 7 fixtures were very benign, said it in July when they came out. Aside from Boro, we played sides from last season's bottom 6ish.
This current set of fixtures are clearly much stiffer and it was always likely we'd slip down the table.
Teams like Boro and Brum seem to have a promotion "attitude" and don't mind getting their elbows out and scrapping in every game: every point is precious to them. I'm not entirely convinced we've shaken off our plucky little QPR with the little budget mentality though? It's not a disaster today - main thing is to show a reaction and put it right in the next game.

How many years have we needed a central midfield enforcer. Lets mot discuss Adamdon's schoolboy defending...but when I was a schoolboy player we'd never bunch that close to the CBs. Crazy positional play!

Too harsh, a bad performance with individual errors, still been a decent start to the season, need a fit squad and we will be fine, highly unlikely I know.

Think a 3 game week and a mountain of injuries caught up with us today. Lloyd and Madsen injured ? Plus Chair, Burrell, Mbengue,Lamptey, Dembele, missing Cirkin, just too much for our squad.
The 4 upfront today were hopeless and many others were playing poorly.

Writing today off as a bad day at the office, next 2 games will show where we really are.
