This is the last match of the season of which I will be in attendance so I very much hope, and perhaps rather naively, that it will be a good day. If I start to get bored and frustrated, I could always try to wake up and surprise the tourists sitting in and around me with the odd "Come on Rangers" shout if I could be bothered to break the crowd silence. Even though I'm going to the match, what does it suggest about me to say that I would be inwardly happy with what I believe will be the final score:
0-0.

you probably speak for the majority of us. On another note anyone know a good curry house near the ground??Originally posted by Acton Stations View PostThis is the last match of the season of which I will be in attendance so I very much hope, and perhaps rather naively, that it will be a good day. Deffo looking forward to it, if only to draw an end to this turd of a season. I think it will be the only game this season that I will have worn t-shirt/shorts combo to (that said, I'll probably bottle it and chuck a pullover on: you can always take it off if yer hot but you can't put it on if yer cold and ain't got it)...
i'm slightly torn about the result. I really don't want Wrexham to reach playoffs and Derby are in a position to pip them so 20% of me would be okay with giving them 3pts. The other 80% wants a 6-0 win with Burrell getting all six.

So when should he have played him then? Poku has getting 20 mins here and there since Birmingham on 11th March then got 60 mins against Millwall, that should have been more than enough time to be ready to start games. If he has this permanent hamstring injury which means he can only play 20 mins a game then what use is he to our club, we certainly aren’t going to get our money back on him at this rate let alone a profit.Originally posted by Shania View PostPlease JS, don`t play any of our injury ridden players this time. We all saw what happened to Poku.

Not at all, because the medical department doesn`t seem to have control when it comes to injuries and many aspects attacted to it. Ben Williams has to leave this summer imo.Originally posted by djp View Post

Whilst I agree that Ben Williams probably should go due to our terrible injury record, to me being out with a Hamstring for over 2 months is long enough.
When I played I have had lots of calf tears, hamstring, quad but I have never been out for over two months, never played at a pro level but I am 51 now and still playing weekly, so have had over 30 years of playing week in week out. I just don’t understand these extremely long times out. Maybe pro players are being over trained hence worse wear and tear than someone like myself or maybe they are protecting themselves for that next big contract.

Do they warm up properly up? - is a question I have raised on forums before. Or what about what they do after matches?Originally posted by djp View Post

100% agree with this, from my own personal experience I got more calf strains in my 20's than I do now, mainly because I have learnt the relevant preventative exercises for me personally. Surely this should be bread and butter for our Performance department, something is clearly wrong with it.Originally posted by Shania View Post

But I just want us to field our best team today in an attempt to give us all something to cheer about, that means starting Burrell, Madsen and Chair.
