Last season was garbage. We finished 15th on 56pts. I'd tell JS he needs to beat that total or pick up his P45.

When I look at any of our managers I ask myself one simple question: Is this guy capable of taking us up? I have seen enough now to decide that JS ain't got what it takes to mount a promotion campaign - far too many duff performances, usually against poor to middling opponents. People are fond of making excuses revolving around budget or injuries but that completely fails to explain the wild inconsistency in our performances. The failure to maintain a concerted level of intensity, performance and mindset from week-to-week has to sit with the manager.

I agree with Abseits , Stephan needs to go , cannot motivate the players in my book, has no plan B let alone C. Always praising the oppo pre match , moaning about budget and injuries . Said it all season he's a wet fish. Our record against the bottom sides is embarrassing , the way we , play away from home is embarrassing as well.
Roll on next season , can't wait

You might have noticed that I haven't paid much attention to the "Promotion" thread of late.......

The only constant is inconsistency! Or was it something to do with a forest and a box of chocolates?

That Wrexham debacle showed me how fragile we really are, and we need more time for these players to mature. Perhaps, another transfer window????

Unfortunately, we've spent a lot on transfer fees and apart from some sunny days, we might not end up much better than last season.

Two of our attempts today were cleared off the line, and some unusual schoolboy defending might give some hope? But overall, we're just not quite good enough.

Oh well.........next season!!
