Agreed. I'm not sure exactly where we are at after the friendlies so far. Without Edwards we need to see how the defence functions against a decent side. (Did I see that Southampton drew away with the team that beat us 6-0?).
Aside from that we still seem quie a "nice" team and definitely lacking some aggressive, forward driving midfielder. We have time to fix but not that much.
Still worry that our new manager might think that pretty, pretty football will work in The Championship.

Yeah, I'm getting a creeping feeling its gonna be a case of "meet the new boss, same as the old boss".... we need a fundamental sea-change in approach and attitude if we are gonna break this endless purgatory of bumping along in lower half of the Championship table. Still, they are only friendlies at the mo' and there should be a tacit agreement to not injure or maim each other - hopefully the bite and edge will surface against PNE.
