In reality that's all Luton try to do to create chances. Not all teams in this league will be that regimented in their approach.Great result. Well done lads. If Frey continues to grow in confidence he could be quite something.
Agree with another poster though. The defence must stop that endless supply of crosses coming over. Still...let's enjoy today. (and we have played 3 pretty decent sides)....
Basically if they lose/sell/suffer an injury to Doughty then they are up slack alley!! He's their main supply line to the overweight whinge bag that is Carlton Morris ( who clearly gives off the air of don't you know who I am, I was playing in the Premier league a couple of months ago!!) and Adebayo who is going through a Lyndon Dykes run of form at the moment..
They try to overload the left hand side all the time. They are hugely reliant on set pieces. It's like watching Wimbledon in early nineties. We seemed to relish it at times though, Cook, Dunne and Field got some great blocks and clearances in to be fair!!
Luton are being found out a bit. Stop Doughty and match them physically and you pretty much cutbthe legs out from under them. They have a manager that only knows one way of playing.Comment

Stoping crosses think we need to get a bit closer/tighter to their wingers ,other then that think we fully deserved the win, apart from 25 mins we looked the better side ,yes they had a couple of chances but they are not a bad side and are at home.Invited the pressure at the end by not closing down.Think we actually are starting to look a good side.Alfie needs a bit of time but will get their but not sure he should be starting yet ,we look like we are getting up to speed again, which is good considering all the new players.Think this could be a good season.Worry about the goalie again lol likes to parry the ball into the middle of the box a lot and punch, but making more and more crucial saves at the right times.Kudos to Marti and the chairman look like they are doing a great job considering where we have been the last few years under numerous managers and Les.Who would have thought it.Comment
