I hope so sheep but I don’t understand how he has stayed in the side all season . Bonne should have shared the load in my opinion. Dykes was anonymous today .

Because of his physical presence perhaps the view was he could hold the ball up and bring other players into the attack? From training they must have thought the Bonne just wasnt producing to deserve the opportunity. I'm sure they knew he was the least worse option, and the coaching staff have been in the game long enough to make that call. It certainly doesnt say must about Bonne....

Bonne has done more in his few appearances than Dykes has all season .

Agree Bonne deserves a chance up front with Austin personally I think Bonne movement is much better

My theory is that Warburton signed Dykes and is picking him every game in a desperate hope that he will start scoring.
I just cannot apprehend why else he is in the team every f****** week.
It’s a real shame we didn’t get the ‘handball’ penalties in the last two matches because that’s about the only way Dykes is likely to score again this season.

Bonne is clearly the better finisher and better at making goal scoring runs in the area. Hopefully he will now get to start alongside Austin.

Although the big problem of lack of service is still going to hamper the strikers’ scoring chances. Neither Kane or Hamalainen look capable of putting in more than 1 or 2 reasonable crosses into the box per game.
How we are missing Rangel, Manning and especially Eze.
We need to spend what it takes to bring in better replacements for those 3.

He is a liability. The question is why is he playing is it just down to what we can afford?

I have been critical of Cameron, especially as a midfielder, but credit where it is due, he had a good game at CB against a not very potent attack today

I agree creativity is a big problem and the lack of goals from midfield just compounds that .Dykes needs to be taken out of the firing line now , no lack of effort but it just hasn’t worked.
