I read that Smith has 8 goals and 8 assists in his last 16 starts. That's an amazing stat. When did we have a striker with a better rate over 16 matches? I am quite sure we find a 16 match run when Austin scored 8, but hardly 8 assists on top. It is strange to think that many supporters called for his exit during the January transfer window.

Yes, Agree. The true mark is league position. Style of play has nothing to do with progress, that's the strategy to achieve the goal of winning a match.

Progress,is counted on many levels. Position.style of play,squad development,financial etc

I hope so. I think it worked well against Watford and I would like to see more of it. It means Freeman in a central position, which I think is crucial.
