Not hard to understand tbh mate. I dont think the prem is a competitive league for a small club like us. The latest 3 seasons in the prem have been dire and embarrassing. I dont think it is possible to be fairweather fan if you support rangers tbf .

Same old same old from you then.

Not about the glitz and glamour, it's about wanting to see QPR in the highest league possible, like it always has been.

I didn't think it was possible to be fairweather, but then someone started talking about it being no fun in the Premier league.

Since when has supporting QPR been about fun?

Tbh v don't always agree with your posts but can't disagree with that . Our stints in the prem have been embarassing - really embarsssingly. Like Ya say v - whatever league , I'll be there.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Like i said from the beginning it wouldnt be so bad if we could compete but when its just watching them lose nearly every week you start to lose the will. We are not set up to compete in the premier league at this time. We have far too much wrong with the club from the bottom to the top. Would much rather be playing teams that are a similar level to us than be the whipping boys of the division week in week out. The Premiership is not the be all and end all and certainly not the best league in the world no matter what SKY say. Dont be fooled by the hype.

I remember very well going to Loftus Road for the celebration the day after our big Wembley victory last May and although I was still basking in the glory of the previous day the signs at Loftus Road saying "We Are Premier League" were downright sobering! Although I hoped it would be better this time round the harsh reality is that a club of our size and resources are always going to struggle at that level, frankly, it's not much fun!

It's a better standard than the Championship. It's also the league above and is what we try and win games in the lower league to compete in.

I don't get what pleasure can be derived from winning a lower league, if the prize is clearly something you detest, mainly because it's not fun? The hope is always that we improve to compete, surely. This is clearly not happening at the moment, but the hope we will get there is what keeps us coming back for more, not make us give up and hope that we stay in mid table stasis in a lower league, because it's easier that way.
