jim ill never forget your lovely smile it seemed to strecth for a mile
your greatest day was the league cup we won in style
never forget those legs going one hundred miles an hour
you played like a winger that day a beautifull flower

you showed much younger men that you still had pace
and dribbling up that wing you sure had grace
looking like chris waddel you danced up that wing
knowing what your telling crosses could bring

and in the tackle you had the ferocity of the pit bull
you showed those albion fans what you were still capable
forget your age that day you were twenty one
the signing of you signified a new era had begun
