I reckon I might have to pop in tomorrow for a full portion of ribs, and to pass along my condolences
I know George's grandson, Nick. Went to school with him. Passed on my condolences yesterday.
And the ribs they do there are nothing short of delicious.

Very sorry to hear George has passed away, I remember him serving in the Golborne shop back in the 80s, he was a great character.

Spent half my childhood in there and the one he owned on the bridge playing defender, pacman, track and field etc..knew george and family personally-lovely pple. Back in the day the golborne rd had a real tight community and georges was a big part of it. Best chippy i was ever in....spare ribs/kebabs and specials were a must. Too many stories to tell about the gaff...R.I.P GEORGE
